Culinary Camp

Culinary Camp I is a week-long, half-day camp for Genesee County students entering grades 6-9.  Campers are introduced to Culinary Art and kitchen experience.  Students will learn kitchen safety, how to read a recipe, how to prepare delicious meals using fresh, healthy ingredients, learn about kitchen management and meal planning.  Chef Tracy Burgio is the head instructor and has teaches Culinary Arts at the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership.

Culinary Camp I 2017: July 10 – July 14

Culinary Camp II is offered to students who attended Culinary Camp I and would like to continue to expand their skills in the kitchen with more detailed recipes and further education on operating a kitchen.  Students in both culinary camps assist and prepare the lunches for all campers and instructors in the camp, as well as for the students in the afternoon camps being offered.  Each Culinary Camp student will receive lunch, apron, and cookbook.
